Vance Shepherd
Lead Vocals, Keyboards, Musical director

Prior to forming MATRIX, Vance had been a concert performer and recording artist for nearly a decade. Since his first band, Las Vegas' own Nemesis, Vance has performed and recorded with such greats as Brad Gillis of Night Ranger, Mark Slaughter, Buddy Miles and Billy Cox, formerly of Jimi Hendrix. Vance has also been asked to work on projects with Adrian Belew and Bootsie Collins. Vance has an extremely creative mind for producing music, and musically directs the bands, giving MATRIX their very unique sound. Vance is an amazing performer, both vocally and instrumentally, and absolutely wows the audience with his stage presence. You will never see another keyboardist work those keys quite like Vance!

Michelle Shepherd
Lead Vocals, Electric Violin, and Bass Guitar

Michelle has been performing live for over a decade. Her vocals matured early on from singing in church choirs, and can range anywhere from jazz to blues, to rock and top 40, with her forte being rock and roll. Along with her powerful voice, Michelle has also been playing violin from the age of eight, and performs with an electric 5 string ZETA violin. As if the violin wasn't enough, she also wanted to learn another instrument and decided to go with bass guitar. She now loves playing bass as much as the violin, and the audience loves to watch her perform. Michelle's musicianship and dynamite personality gives this project it's unique edge.

Together, Vance and Michelle front MATRIX. They are joined on stage with Ted Vieira on lead guitar and vocals, who makes playing the hardest riffs look SO simple! and Johnny Garcia is the newest member of the band on drums, the bands' rock solid backbone...............
